Found this recipe in an old book of mine

3 Tbs Fresh Lime Juice (can used "Jif" if you want)
Measure Treacle into a bowl, pour in the Lime Juice stirring continually until it becomes somewhat thick, smooth fluid
Use same day

Well, I'm absolutely stunned and disappointed that not one of you has welcomed this new member, It don't take much effort to say "Hi", does it,
Obviously not fit to be one of you happy band of pilgrims, Like being back at school in your own little gangs. Maybe she will see sence and not bother with this site again.

I remove the paddle while the dough is resting, before it starts to bake, Or you can take the dough out and cook it in the oven.

I made Tea Eggs years ago (further back than i care to remember,) ;D This is how I done them.
Hard boil your eggs About 7-8 mins, when cool enough to handel crack the shell all over, with the back of a spoon (don't remove any shell) then put them into a bowl and cover with soy sauce, (or tea) and let stand for a couple of day's, (The longer the better) and when you take off the shell "BINGO" Tea Eggs, (I expect their are many other ways to do them, this was mine)
