I know it does littlechilli and it also takes time to get recipes from restaurants which i have done in the past and i have also posted my Tandoori adventure as well with picture by picture advancements.
I dont know why i am getting such a bad reception to be honest i have been a member of this forum for over ten years and have posted several recipes, pictures and advice just because i dont post on other topics doesn't make me a bad man lol.

Don't know whether you are being sarcastic or not with your post, i am not referring to CTs recent post, he did post a while back when he first got his hut, was certainly not a dig at CTs post.

No CT, i stopped posting on the other site when there was a 5 or 6 page topic about the length of a grain of rice, i do post on here sometimes when i feel the need but of late the recent topics on here have not interested me one bit. Also been busy with work and still selling curries to my customers and now 2 cafes.

They are called pakodas, which there are loads of different varieties, i make them quite a lot and add them to curries that are sauce only like Madras, Pathia etc.
I also make them to take down to my local pub with 4-5 different dips.

I though it was a good programme, the Indian part was interesting also, it got slated on the internet for some reason, think it was more about slagging Tom Kerridge off for losing too much weight. Nevertheless i enjoyed it.

This base recipe is very close to a Balti Base recipe i have, the one i have adds cauliflower, also tomato puree with a touch of Balti Spice MIx and water, not too sure but with the added bay leaf he seems to add to nearly every dish may calm some of the spices down when cooking the dishes, may be wrong.
Will hopefully make this base in the next few days and try the bay leaf thing.
