PS: Just an afterthought, though. Is the use of 2 different madras curry powders in the mix powder deliberate?

Looks very nice, Andy, and I fully agree with your comment about the flavour profile and identifying the individual flavours of the spicing and other ingredients. I, for one, would be more than happy to dip a naan or roti in it!

Very nice, Rob! I've reduced my guitar and amp stock to 5 as I only play for my own pleasure these days. I eventually replaced my Marshall AVT50 with a much more house (and neighbour!) friendly Vox Mini 5, I still play around with my Boss RC30 looper but these days its my Blacktop Tele and Epiphone PR5 electro-acoustic that see the most action.

I'm sure the addition of green cardamons and cloves will give the curry another dimension. Interestingly, my goto Rogan Josh recipe by Razor (here) includes both spices and it, too, is absolutely delicious.

I wholeheartedly agree. I have always wondered why people on here insist that you need an oil slick on your curry to make it authentic.
