It is a nice GM, but very strong. You could make something similar by upping the green cardamom in a standard mix.

Aha blackened peppers. One of the best things in a jar from the cheap supermarkets.
They work well in a pressed sandwich.

I grind and make my own.
I have bought ready mixes in the past though, Jalpur, Rajah, Natco etc but you cant beat freshly ground.
p.s. where's the poll?

I don't think I could manage a waffer-thin mint after that spread!
No, the other one.

I say sack em both! ;D
Neither has what it takes to be a moderator.
A mod should ALWAYS bite their tongue and NEVER bite back. It was obvious to me and anyone else who has been around long enough to know that George and Dave was never going to work.
If admin was more involved over the past few years, he would've realised that too.
As members, I have no problem with them saying whatever they like. Ive enjoyed their occasional rants and spats over the years, its this passion and low level moderation that got me hooked.
But as moderators.. NO! It should never happen.

Les.
These are the types of members who make good mods. Always around, never fighting or sniping and I believe, would diffuse a bad situation rather than fueling it.

Talk About Anything Other Than Curry / Re: Which Variety of Chilli?
March 19, 2015, 04:33 PM
Just ate a fresh one. Not that hot at all really.
On a par with a good jalepeno, a lot milder than a small green finger chilli and no fruitiness. So nothing like a scotch bonnet.
I've been had!
Only bought them because of the shape, thinking I was getting something special. :
