Hi Rob and all,

I have seen that myself Rob.

Maybe its only if you stuff them
with a filling that you have to push down with your finger tips.

I wonder who the 1st winner is ? well done who ever it is.

Hi,
I have see them pushing down with the finger tips
again on one of the Sunday morning cooking
shows, it's just a guess really.

It could be anything.

Good luck.

So we now have...
"Or am I over-reacting? Would other heterosexual individuals on here be offended if anyone suggested or implied they're gay? And to anyone who is that way, good luck to them, but isn't almost homo-phobic and against the law to be mocking it, or drawing attention to their orientation?"

And...
"Yes, you're right about where he's probably coming from,
and because I'm not, I find it highly offensive"

So what did I really post ?

"Two blokes standing in a bar"

I am confused as to what there is not to understand about the words "blokes in a bar"
So "Blokes" in a bar has been converted to what ? And we are not allowed to smile at each other and the next time I am at the local Burlesque bar remind me to dial 999 and see how many "different orientations" are arrested for pointing out some ones other "orientation" (some do love to show off) I would put money on it most would want to be arrested when the police arrive in uniform anyway - see now that's a joke (only just I know) or call it a light hearted comment, either way its something this site and a member or two maybe missing out on.

Regards Graeme.

Cooking Methods / Re: ghee and oil

I use butter ghee when possible, but have also used veg ghee.
I have made my own butter ghee in the past, but that was some time ago
however it's worth making at least once.

Hope this helps.

Yes I have noticed it can over power the dish.
I use about 1/2 to 2/3rd's of a tea spoon of ghee
in a Korma, but not all the time just when it creeps up my back.

Hi Mat,

I have known cooks to start off a BIR curry with ghee and oil,
for example I do this with BIR korma at times.

I don't know how many others do this but its not uncommon.

Regards Graeme :-)

I am confused as to why my post was moderated in this thread.

If I remember correctly the words I used were "then smiled at each other"

pls would you tell me why this was moderated out George as it has you as mod on it ?

I never used any foul words George (mod) and you make my post look like it was offensive.

Pls would you tell me why you removed my text George (mod)

I await you reply, I did nothing wrong.
........................................................
Further with ref to my deleted text (way above somewhere) I would like to add that in this same thread
someone posted (un-moderator mode)

"I think it's much better than the heavy censorship used
on some forums. If anyone doesn't like this thread, just pick another one to read, instead"

Then (in moderator mode) George deleted some of my text !!
..........................................................
I await a reply please, this is a none intrusive and a none offensive request. Its simply a request for the mod who deleted my text to tell me what I did wrong, or at least please would you reinstate my original text back to the original as posted by me.

Thank you.
Graeme.
