Hi all,

I made this a few weeks back and was disappointed, the saffron and mace overpowered the dish for me, if making this again i would leave them out altogether but otherwise a good recipe and cooking lesson and recommend it still, oh the pre fried onions tasted great in the rice will do it more often.

Hi Jerry,

Sounds great..  i am using chinios recipe for madras at moment but will try this next time round.. is the TRS tandoori masala the barbecue mix? i will post my banjara photo as promised in next couple of days. Oh do you not use fenugreek leaves in this?

cheers

Thanks Commis i thought of that too but the pages are limited,
Jerry, thanks once again for your comments i read all of your posts and find the scientific approached experiments and detailed conclusions interesting and save us all a lot of time, perhaps Dr Jerry?
The secret onion paste looks tempting and differs greatly from the ashoka in texture so will give that one a go now.
I should try taking photos to do what i can.

Thanks again

Oh i will be doing the chilli oil from Hey there over the weekend will let you know how it goes.
