finely sliced green pepper and onion with less sauce than any aother curry.
Not a Jalfrezi without a chilli in though  :-\

No offence CA but this looks more like a Jalfrezi than a Bhoona. I have never seen or eated a Bhoona with that much pepper in.

Madras / Re: CA's Chicken Madras

I have made this loads of times as it's easy and quick to make. It was lacking something and was slightly bland to other recipes I have tried on here. I always add a tsp of Pataks madras paste this seems to give it that extra something. Give it a try.

Is it definitely 300ml of base he uses??  looks a little less to me.

Pathis looks good mate my favourite by a mile. Which recipe was it?

For my last two batches of bases I have doubled the amount of onions for the CA base but didn't double the rest of spices or ingredients only and extra 800-1000ml of water.
This has improved my curries over the last two months by at least 10%.
Give it a go Razor I beleive this may be the way forward and let us know how you get on?

I have made this a fair few times now and it has turned out very good every time and is very easy to make. The only thing for me is the lack of tomato in it and too much cream. I was always under the impression a CTM has a lot of tomato in as in pureed.

I am making this tonight and I am going to half the amount of cream and treble the amount of tomato.

CA or anyone else have you tried it with more tomato in?
