Hi paul!

There are a number of great curry bases here, go to curry bases and just choose one, most : bases will make maybe 8 currys.

You can store your base in the fridge or freeze it.But what i normally do is cook the base on a certain day make a curry or two, then after 1-3days use the rest.

I also find that after a couple of days it always seems to taste alot better.

Good luck! :)

Yes your right even i asked abt the ghee!

They said this  they only use this in their rice dishes.

I think another issue is how many curries taste great to one person but if you taste them, they seem a mile off.

Out of all the Curry's i have eaten(and theres been hundreds)There are more bad than good in my opinion!

You either no it or you don't. :)

Please guys i would love to know what you think of the base(love it or hate it)I know its probably got no suprises but even with the spice mix does it work or maybe another spice mix.

I'm waiting for all your experience!

Well put BB.

My father is in his late 50s and knows his Curry's and says the curry from our local restaurant has stayed the same since he first tasted it.

I think the biggest problem is,where you had just one takeaway in your high street years ago, and your restaurant was maybe a few miles away we appreciated it more.(And still to this day they cook the best Curry's in my area!)

But these days to many are opening up to make a quick buck and the quality is naff, and when we try them, which we all have done we say"oh my god that was crap I'm not going there again.)

Like the chef said to me on my visit there is only one way to cook a good curry,And i asked so excitedly "WHATS THAT"and he said "THE RIGHT WAY" :)

Ive often thought this about the 90s era,Especially when you still see alto of the old chefs still working or owning the restaurants! :)
