I forgot to buy a can of garden peas.  It needs the peas next to the chips.

Rob :)

And a fried egg. "Egg and chips. Egg, beans and chips. Egg beans, chips, and curry. Three teas, one without." I'd go to that caff!

Fantastic looking curries KB  :like:

For full-size pics, use the 'BBCode full linked' and make sure it's set to 'Don't autodelete too'.

I still want to see Rik's onions with cloves of garlic!

The curry looks fantastic. Were you testing different upload methods?

I can't see any new messages and the drop-down notification is gone.

I was going to ask if you could post a screenshot of the issue... but of course, that takes us full circle, doesn't it!

Also, check out what the Admin Suggestions section is calling itself now.   It's all going to pot! :)

Where is the 'Admin Suggestions' section though?

Those are from me, Bob. The second one is just a couple of words saying sorry for calling you 'Rob' in the first one

Absolutely. I've got the same results as you, KB; no error message, just a blank (imageless) post.

I'm not shilling, but as I mentioned elsewhere, I use this site (and there's plenty like it) for BB uploads. Perhaps give it ago until we have sorted your own issues out? It's pretty much a two-click operation. At least this way the Pictures thread can get re-cluttered up  :-)

...meantime, I'll email Yousef.

I was in London over the weekend (for Ride London).  Stayed at the Premier Inn Hub King's Cross.  After the ride figured I'd earned a beer (or two), so went down to the bar.  £5.50 for a 330 ml bottle of Peroni.  I know, London prices.  I thought, no chance, so went for a wander.  Soon found a Nisa.  Peroni £1.79.  Ths is more like it, so bought three bottles.  10 p extra for a carrier bag.  Anyway, I next spotted this place and went to have a look at their menu, which was a digital screen in the front window.  Curry time!

What do you make of the "Boring but delightful" section?  It made me chuckle, although the notion of a boring bhuna and a balti made with pickles put me off.  I decided not to bother and went back to the hotel with my beers.  Got back to Birmingham yesterday.  Balti garlic chicken (MDB MKI) was on the menu later that evening, 10/10 balti heaven.  No pickles.  I still had a bottle of Peroni left too, which was also ideal.

Rob :)

Yeah, top of Gray's Inn Rd, opposite Mcdonald's? BNeen there. Bizarrely it's surrounded by several other curry houses, and I don't really get how any of them can survive that proximity. But they have, for years now!

I don't know about the bhuna but I can testify that the Dupiaza wasn't boring... Blooming tasty, as it goes!

I while back it was stated that immigration restrictions was making it increasingly difficult for good chefs to get in, does anyone remember that? Perhaps this is the / a consequence.

Edit.  Best photos on the way, which don't make the red food colouring powder so obvious :)

I think the colours are great, nice dark red. Burgundy. Vermillion. The field of Magenta!

It looks like you got a fair bit more than you asked for, though, KB? That's not bad for the old bang/buck ratio  :like:

Indeed. This is getting silly. Phil, I'll email you tomorrow about it. (If not tomorrow, then Sunday. We just got back tonight from a week in the east of England. Help!)
