Looks proper tasty, I would have to be really in the right mood for a Korma but your recipe sounds easy as pie.  Thanks for posting i'm going to give it a bash soon.

My missus would kill me and skin me alive if I used a metal chef's spoon on our non-stick pans!! Wooden spatula for me. I'm still debating in my head whether it's worth purchasing a aluminium kitchen king pan... Hmmm

That looks like a fantastic curry that I would demolish in minutes!!  I know whats next on my to-do curry list now,  I probably wouldnt add the cream however.  Instead of precooking the onions and peppers I may just fry them and add the G&G pasta once soft - save some washing up!  I second Chewys madras btw, although I am yet to try madrasandys version which looks to have rave reviews

I'm having a bash at cooking a staff curry tomorrow as a break from BIR, I'm liking the idea of simple boiled rice and salad.  What are typical ingredients of a 'Indian Salad'?

Good excuse to get pissed and save the cans!

My missus is going through abit of a 'don't like chilli' stage - bad times.  I knocked this up to satisfy my curry cravings and to appease the boss.  If you haven't tried this recipe its well worth putting it on your list to try, I would recommend making the masala the day before and adding the tikka'd chicken once warmed up the following day.- it tasted so much better.

This dish is really close to BIR flavour in my opinion.

For those, like me that love their pressure cooker - 35 minutes at full pressure then a natural release worked wonders and really melted the onions.  Although I had to ram down the 3 kg of sliced onions to fit in my 6 litre pressure cooker.

And where would one acquire such a 'balti bucket'?  The Elaichi North Indian Special is a regular in my house, fantastic!! :D

Do you receive the recipe with the spice mix? Would you not want to know what other ingredients you need to buy beforehand? Anyway ?4 just for a spice mix is steep.
