How would you actually present/serve this? I mean a stinking great lamb shank on a plate is a bit unweildly.

I'm thinking the following.
Take each shank, and shred the meat off the bone, then serve it layered over a light green salad, with some feta and a yoghurt mint dressing. Maybe some roasted new potatoes. Any thoughts?

Hey guys! These recipes sound fantastic. Can I just ask, how many people will a single Lamb shank serve? The chef in Axe's video claims 12 people can be fed from four shanks, but that sounds pretty stingy to me.
Also, Axe, did you just make two wholes in each shank, stuff one with feta and one with garlic? Would it be worth making a few of each, or is just the one required?

Not necessarily; I have definitely read of someone who has overcome this, and who has also succeeded in disabling the temperature-limiting sensor so that his over reaches circa 900C !

I reckon at that kind of temperature you could use his Electric meter disc as a record player too!

Just a thought. You know most of us struggle to get ovens hot enough to cook certain things properly, i.e. Naan. Has anyone ever tried using the Pyrolitic cleaning function on a modern oven. Apparently it cranks the temperature up to around 600*c and carbonises all of the gunk n crap in your oven. Now I'm thinking half way through a pyrolitic cleaning cycle, couldn't you chuck your naan dough in for a couple of minutes? Or is this suicide?

So without sounding like an Aldi-frequenting gyppo, could I not take my dessicated coconut, of which I have lots, and grind it up in my pestle and mortar, or mortar and pestle, depending on which bit is which, I always forget.

How long does this kind of stuff last for in storage? Also do Methi leaves store ok?
