Well can I just tell you I have just made the Pakora and it was fcukin delightful (excuse my french), I have been tasting the delights of Indian cuisine for the last 20 years and this is the best pakora I have ever had that resembles BIR, I know it's only the starter but hey you gotta start somewhere, incidentally I used the sauce from the Jeera without the sugar and I liquidised everything,as they say here in America it was awesome  ;D
Now back to finishing of my base sauce courtesy of Jasper.

Hi guys, this is a very informative site with lots of detail for getting your preffered BIR
but I have been checking out various recipes and info and everything appears to be on the large scale i.e. base sauces even some of the actual recipes, since I will only be cooking for my wife and I, it is somewhat tricky trying to find suitable measures. Is there no way to include recipes and info for the home rather than the large kitche/restaurant.
Dare I say it even a seperate thread/forum

Thanking you in anticipation, David

Hi recently moved over here to the USA from Bonnie Scotland. The thing I miss most is my Indian cuisine. I live in central Michigan and Have tried loads of Indian restaurants and nothing compares with the cusine in Glasgow and the surounding areas, ie The Bombay cottage in Hamilton has to be my fav. Finding and joining this site has given me the impudence to try the many and varied recipes.
