Hi Mr Madras,    This is a previous post my Admin regarding spices with a discount.

4 no: Tomatoes (chopped fine)
1 no: Onion (chopped into strips)
1/2" piece: Ginger chopped fine
2 no: Green chillies chopped fine
2 no: Cardamoms (crushed)

1 tsp: Chopped coriander

Method
Chop paneer into 2" fingers.
Heat half the ghee. Add onion, ginger, green chilli and cardamom. Fry for 3-4 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook for 7-8 minutes, covered. Add curd and cook for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water and cool.

Thanks for that Vindaloo, that Falcon shops sounds right up my street. I've have a field day in there ::)

I'd guessed it would be somewhere near Melton Rd area, I drive in Coventry everyday and get my spices and stuff there but your shop sounds like its worth a visit.

Is this the place ?  Falcon Cash & Carry 82a Syston St West  Leicester

Thanks again.     Pat

Lets Talk Curry / Hot Curry
March 11, 2007, 10:17 AM
Whats the hottest curry that everyone would try?  I'm a wimp in the hotness stakes, I lag behind with an embarrassing MADRAS.
I've tried VINDALOO but after the first mouthful, my mouth sets on fire and can't taste anything else. :P

While I'm here I must confess to ordering a take away last night, chicken balti and pilau rice, forgive me for I have sinned...........but tasted bloody lovely  ;D
