Just made another batch in pots for the freezer. I also made a batch of mickdabass tikka. The perfect combo, and I doubt I will be deviating from these two recipes, I don't believe perfection can be improved upon!!!

Absolutely superb. I left out the sugar as I found it didn't need it, although that may be because I don't have a sweet tooth. Thank you very much for the recipe!

I have to thank CA for this wonderful recipe. Unlike my photography it turned out perfectly. Separate grains and a beautifully delicate flavour.



Made a batch using 500g of Tilda Basmati so freezing the rest in portions.

I made this last night both with & without the sugar. To my taste I prefer it without, but a huge thanks to Dip for the original recipe, he has hit the nail firmly on the head!

Can't believe this site.Absolutely fantastic!
I've been cooking for 30 years and the one thing I can never seem to master is a decent curry.Looks like you lot will be the solution. :-*

Has anyone tried these?They're from Raj Stores (The Asian Cookshop)in Braintree.They seem to take out a lot of hassle if you haven't got time to prepare from scratch. ???

PS.Looking forward to gaining many good tips on here!Looks an excellent forum. :)
