Lets Talk Curry / Bulk cooking
May 15, 2019, 01:45 PM
Hi Guys/Gals I am thinking of doing a bulk curry 50 portions, and I've decided to do a staff curry and am fine with this but I am not sure about bulk rice and it hanging about etc. Therefore i'm thinking of serving the curry with some dhal and parathas and leaving the rice out? Probably do bhajis as well. Would you miss the rice??

Cheers

Went to Paks in Rotherham (now called Sprouts) and was glad to see that they stock many Laziza products in different sizes including the obvious, tikka boti, tandoori, kashmiri pastes it also stocks the following chutneys in jars, plum, mint, mixed fruit, coriander like the one below

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=laziza+jarred+chutney&client=safari&hl=en-gb&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwibspySubHTAhVPOMAKHY01Da8Q_AUICCgC&biw=1024&bih=671#imgrc=d8ZZU1clnmvm2M:

Lets Talk Curry / Tomatoes - to peel or not
December 05, 2016, 07:26 PM
Guys

do you peel your tomatoes or not? Sometimes if i use cherry tomatoes the skins come off and separate and sit in the sauce and they are not very appealing.

Hi I had a lovely halloumi and falafel wrap from Fanoush in Sheffield yesterday and it had some quite sour and hot mango sauce drizzled on it and I thought that it would work well as a curry accompaniment.

Has anyone ever used any or know where to get some?
