i don`t know if anyone have seen this program on sky three called greatest dishes in the world. their was one dish called chicken xacutti a goan curry dish. the recipe is about 300 - 400 years old so the chef says.

so i done a search for the recipe and come up with this one.
the program is on at 12.noon and then at 6:00pm.

to all members i`m looking for websites so i download free pictures on indian food such as curry etc and restaurants and other pictures or animations if possilbe but they must be in (gif format)because i`m using notepad and html.can anyone help.

my mum brought me a curry from asda`a on the indian and chinese takeaway counter,
the curry is called find-a-loo,it`s a hot curry and if you like them hot then try this one.i had it last night.

just made this sauce for my mate who loves it,he asked me where i got the recipe from and i told from this site.
he tasted it and said it`s better than the one i get from the take-a-way,from now on he wants me to make it for him.

i bought this book on wednesday had a look and every recipe has a picture of the dish so you know what it looks like.
all recipes are made by indian chefs.
worth a buy.

this recipe was gave to me by a mate of mine,i don`t know if it`s chinese or indian.

curry powder.

1 tblspn. cumin seeds.
1 tblspn fenugreek seeds.
1 tspn mustard seeds.
1 tblspn black peppercorns.
4 tblspn coriander seeds.
2 tspn ground ginger.
1/2.tspn chilli powder.
2 tblspn ground turmeric.

this is your curry powder for your curry recipe sauteed chicken  in curry cream sauce.


30g.(1oz)butter.
4 chicken breast fillests.
125ml.(4floz).coconut cream.
250ml.(8floz).single cream.
1/4. tspn ground coriander.
1/2. tspn ground cumin.
2.tspn curry powder.
fresh herbs,cut in strips ,for garnish.


method.

1). preheat oven to 150.c(300f/gas2)..melt butter in a largefrying pan,add chicken breasts and cook over moderate heat until golden on both sides.place in an ovenproof dish and continue cooking in oven.
2). meanwhile ,add coconut cream,single cream,coriander,cumin and curry powder to fat remaining in pan.cook,stirring,until sauce is reduced to about half.
3). arrange cooked chicken filletson a serving plate,pour curry sauce over top and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
serves 4.

hi darthphall like you mate i love my curries hot the hotter the better,i spoke to a friend of mine who is indian who i went to school with,and he said to me that using red onions gives the sauce more flavour. i done your 99.9% basic recipe and spot on mate i myself could not taste the differance well done to you mate keep up the the good work,back to the onions have you tried the basic sauce with white and red onions if so please let me know.thank you once again for your hard work you should open your own bir or takeaway

259-uktvfood-06:30am Delhi Belly,then it`s repeated again on
260-uktvfood+1-07:00am.

then at 10:00am 259-uktvfood-Ken Hom`s chinese cooking then repeated again on
260-11:00am-uktvfood+1.
