I suspect a visit to Spices and a drink at a local watering hole jb?  Must crack on with the Elaichi NIS for tonight and another base to make.

;D ;D Funny how that happens occasionally, isn't it? ::) I was in town last weekend and there was a lot of work going on inside.  Today the double frontage is virtually finished.  It was kind of a foolish move from the main road (what is now China Phoenix) to a side street right next to a fish and chip restaurant wasn't it?  I'd say it cost him a lot of passing trade.  I will give it a look at some stage.  Food was always ok but not as higher quality as Spice.  What concerns me more is that Azman general store disappeared :'( :'( Not sure whether it will replace the old premises in Cromwell road or not.  I hope so.  No halal buthers in the town now and it was good for  a lot of the catering size stuff and fresh veg etc.  We'll see.  Let me know how you get on if you get in there before i do.

Just to finish off, the week wouldn't be complete without my trying my Zaal base on a North Indian Special as i did on Saturday night.  For this i chose the Elaichi version and here are the results with special pilau and mushroom bhaji again.  Didn't get round to eating it until tonight though :D.  Salad for tea tomorrow I think ::)

A little darker than in reality ???
