notice the chef with the gas mask...class
I usually have a gas mask on next day when I go for a 3-dog-nite with the sunday papers tucked under my arm :)

As a marketing tool, it never seems to end, nice kitchen though.

Man v Food is more entertaining, gas masks are very good theatre,
but in reality, the chilli cough comes from burning the powders.

Agreed.  I can remember the chef choking when he used to make my curry ;D  If t there was no choking going on then it was going to be a poor effort coming out of the kitchen ??? >:(.  Shame i missed the Kismot Killer when i was there :'(

This isn't strictly true. it can also choke when you fry fresh chillies.
Even the other day, i was frying up some bacon bits for a quick sandwich and i threw in a chopped fresh naga. Within a minute, i couldn't breathe!
and was coughing and choking like a good'un.  I had to run out of the kitchen and wrap a teatowel around my face. It was That bad. :o
