Phil I much prefer Lamb too - but the costs are considerably more when cooking in bulk. Try Gezh's recipe (with a tbsp of soy and ketchup) in for a smaller size.
My pub is in Peterborough - but the curry nights are only every couple of months

Peterborough, eh ? Well, Google Maps reckons that's about 2 1/2 hours away -- rather further than I'd normally go for a curry (!) but if enough CR0 members show interests in a face-to-face meeting it might be worth it. Let's see what the others say ...
