Last night's spicy efforts.
Tandoori Chicken Wings (Starter)

Triple yellow sticker Tesco's Fire Pit wings. I knew what to expect from these. They are absolutely terrible. Not really worth putting the oven on for. However I made a few tweaks. Fresh garlic/ginger paste, Shababs balti (Misty Ricardo) spoon-offs (excess oil and base; highly fragrant) and a dollop of Fudco chilli and garlic chutney. Not too bad. 5/10.
Balti Chicken Phal (Main)
Nearly ready

Made from Shababs spoon-offs, 1 cs chilli powder (rounded), 1 dried Reaper chilli (finely chopped), 2 tsp salt (also rounded) and the juice of 1 mandarin easy-peeler. Fresh chicken.
Re-heated

Very nice, hot and fruity! A good 30 min burn. Unfortunately, the chilli level de-baltified the dish, in terms of flavour. 4/10.
Back on the real-deal baltis next week. Mick's and Misty's, side-by-side.
