Hi All

Hi everyone

Been a member since 30th June but haven't said anything but i think i finally will ;D  First of all this site is great and I've learned a lot in 6 months or so.  Its also interesting to read what a lot of you say about your experiences of cooking, restaurants and take-ways and how different they are from mine.  I usually like the warmer curries: Madras/Vindaloo/Jalfrezi etc but not adverse to trying something else.  I've been cooking for only about 2 1/2 years and a lot of the earlier curry attempts were disastrous to say the least(gritty burnt spice mixtures).  I do own 'The curry secret' ;D but found that it wasn't all that compared to what I've seen from you guys.

Anyway i will post recipes and photos hopefully very soon, as soon as I've perfected them.

Welome Jimgif

Like we always say, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. This forum is great at providing answers to those "not so" silly questions that many are usually afraid to ask.

Look forward to reading more of your posts and reviews.

Regards

SnS  ;D

Hi Jimgif,

Glad you decided to start posting.  I think it would be interesting to hear about your experiences to date, e.g. what you found easy vs. hard, and how you got on with any of the recipes you tried.

I'm still thinking about the "improved" cr0 site we were talking about a while back (with collected recipes and extra tips extracted, verified and put into more accessible form than forum posts).  Anything you might be able to share about your own "curry journey" to date might be useful to identify the kind of things you wish you'd found quicker or things that would've just made it easier to get going.

Either way, welcome to the 'talkative' side of the forum! ;D  Look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

Cheers,

ast
