id like to request chicken roshni, if anyone out there happens to have a recipe for it. its quite a garlic kinda dish, very tasty, but have yet to find a recipe for it sadly. ive tried to make my own, and come reasonably close, but it just wasnt spot on. thanks in advance.

I've never heard of a chicken roshni ??? Could you list the recipe you used, that way we can look and see if we find anything similar that might suit you.....although it may not contain mango :P ;D

Ive never cooked it myself, its one from my local. Its very nice. quite garlic'y, but very tasty. Not everyone seems to have heard of it, im wondering if its not a common dish. Still i thought i would try :D

My locals menu lists it as 'the rich flavour of this dish comes from the subtle touches of north bengal spices garnished with cloves of fried garlic'.

mmm.

I googled it and found it on some menus......although they don't list ingredients other than to say it's lamb or chicken marinaded and garnished with fried whole bulbs/cloves of garlic...shame really....it sounds like something I might like......you can never have too much garlic in my book ;)

Typical, always some crucial details withheld :( They haven't told us which shape pasta to use  :'(

Ingredients 21, 22 and 23 seem to be missing. I wonder what they were?

My guess is chocolate, anchovies and the kitchen sink!  ;D

I'd really love to know how it actually tastes. I think it has all the hallmarks of a concoction from North of the border but I wouldn't know how to source a persimmon if I tried (locally anyhow).
