curry kits?
« on: June 09, 2007, 12:20 AM »
been looking on ebay and seen the curry kits  i.e. buy 2 get a 3rd free, anybody tried one as they give  cooking instructions with the kit, brings me back to the good old curry gravy as most of these do not mention it in there recipes , also if say i do a paste in the blender and add a good curry powder to it, does this not make me my base? as the curry powder is made up of differant spices,  i am not being funny when i say this but can you really see the takeaways using only the finest spices, i have seen these spices and they come in the form of the rajah brand in big bags

Curry Kits are a total waste of time
You will be dissapointed and have paid for it
Recipes on this site are free
The only way you get good is by practice
There are no instant recipes
I wish there were
