Tandoori Chicken
« on: May 10, 2007, 01:51 AM »
Hi all, I made this tonight using this recipe http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=1555.msg13736#msg13736

However mines did not turn as red as cory ander's photos.
I wish it did though cause I love the red colour in my Take away Tandoori chicken.
It still tasted the business though, all my family enjoyed it.

Here's some photos taken through the process.

This is the chicken in the marinade after 12 hours in the fridge.

This is the chicken on the skewers ready to be put in the oven as I don't have a BBQ.

Here is some Tandoori chicken on a plate ready for my kids to eat.
The rest went into a Chicken Tikka Masala. (see link at bottom for the Tikka Masala I also made)

Here's the link to my Tikka Masala I made from the rest of my Tandoori Chicken.

I use the vibrant, "glow-in-the-dark, red and yellow powders (nasty, nasty!)  :o

You can always add more if you wish it to be deeper red!  :P

Regards,
