Curry Bob, seems to have missed your point of the Traditional recipe adapted for quick Pressure Cooking.
Get a Pressure Cooker, the low tech marvel.
Alfred Prasads recipe has been well republished on the web, newcomer

Not missed the point chewy I simply cannot find my pressure cooker or I would have used it I did have one once upon a time! will have to buy a new one
