Good day to everyone on the forum, I would just like to say what an amazing community this site offers to all curry enthusiasts, I have been wolfing this fine fodder down for nearly 30 years and have tried making it to BIR standard at home but failed miserably, after studying form over the last week since I joined I have made a really good base using welshknuckles from his belting balti post, leaving the hard spices in I blended it to a liquid, in terms of flavour, what went into the blender and what came out was unreal, the flavours from the spices mixed in were amazing, I have used it for a Korma and Bhuna so far and have them about 75% to BIR standard, just some more studying from you very knowledgeable people and practise will get me there, I have my 10L cooking pot and 16" chef spoon arriving anytime so will be putting them to good use!
Looking forward to browsing past and present posts and contributing if possible.

Good to hear that you are already having success in achieving that BIR flavour. I look forward to hearing more about your journey and even seeing a few pics, as most of us enjoy a nice pic to put us in the mood for a curry
