Why don't I post recipes?

On the Mixed Powder thread, martinvic asked a perfectly reasonable question, but possibly in an unreasonable place, at some risk of de-railing the thread. He said:

Oh dear, George, you are on an ever downward spiral towards the plughole.

For what it's worth, I would be happy to try a recipe which you consider very tasty, as I would anyone else's.

I think martin was inviting you to make a creative contribution rather than just criticise other people's attempts to create and share :)

My clarifying and I think relative response is in the original thread George.

And of course people would be interested in your recipes, especially as you aspire to better than average BIR dishes.

Could you possibly transfer that response over to this thread (cut and paste) to avoid cluttering up the mixed powder thread with off-topic stuff?

I'm not the only person here who seldom posts recipes. We try and contribute in different ways. Also, why post mediocre recipes like Pat Chapmans's samosa filling (slightly adapted)?

Keep sniping George  ;).  Would appreciate if you added in my other comments about spicing for samosas though just to balance your post.

Still waiting for the superior suggested spicing though.  For sure i'm gonna try it  and give you some feedback ;D

Hopefully, it won't be like Chris's e-book  :)

I don't know what Chris's eBook has got to do with the observation that relatively few people here post recipes, including myself. Chris placed messages on youube, and various forums, to say his eBook would be out "soon". Well, that was a couple of years ago, and it's all gone quiet. I never said I was going to publish an eBook, and neither am I in a position to do so. I've only developed two or three recipes to a level where I'm happy to tick them off and move on to the next dish I'm keen to perfect, like samosas.

Also, I don't think I mentioned 'superior spicing' with regard to samosas. I only suggested that mix powder is probably a bad choice if you seek to move from average to superior BIR flavours. Is there really anyone here who would choose to frequent a BIR which serves 'average' (dull, uninspiring) food, if there's a place down the road which serves superior tasting (moreish, delicious) food at much the same price?
