Paneer is easy to make, but has anyone tried adding any herbs, spices etc., with success?

When I used to make paneer years ago , I would add salt and other herbs and spices to the crumbled paneer before pressing. Ajawain , cumin and dill can create a great taste .

Thanks CC, I was worried about salt because I thought it may toughen the curd.
