Previously, I mentioned that I was experimenting with a slow cooker to prepare curries, and achieved half-decent results. Chewytikka chimed-in to say, in effect, that I must be mistaken and the results are almost bound to be rubbish, because he tried and failed. The implication appeared to be that if chewytikka can't produce good results from a slow cooker, then nobody can.
It's interesting that several members on this thread seem to think, like I do, that the approach has potential. Perhaps time will tell who's right - either chewytikka, or people who are more inclined to be optimistic.
