Could you please provide your coconut rice recipe?

I'm very interested in it!

Coconut and Ginger Rice

Goncalo posted it in the side dishes this morning. I'm definitely going to give it a go.

Nice looking dish but where is the chilli?

Aren't the green hoops cross-sections of chillies ?
** Phil.

You are right Phil. The green could be: turkish green chillies (almost like kashmiri, but from turkey) which I used or even green pepper, which was in less quantity than the chillies or even some of the fresh coriander I added.

I finally got me some Deggi Mirch/Kashmiri Mirch. It sure is a different beast from just regular Chilli Powder. It appears to be very heavy on Paprika and some other spices. I can see how that could improve (or destroy) a lot of dishes.

Kashmiri chilli powder should be ground kashmiri chillies. Deggi, on the other hand, is ground resham-patti chillies and possibly other stuff like paprika and even kashmiri chillies.
