Fiery Food Festival
« on: August 21, 2006, 04:05 PM »
Hi,

Just thought I would post this as some may be on holiday in the area at the time of this festival.  Its being held at Brighton Marina on Fri 1st (evening only) Sat and sun 2nd and 3rd Sept 11am - 6pm.  Free entry and free parking.

There will be over 40 stalls there, including Indian, Thai, Mexican, African, Jamaican etc. Extra hot chilli beer, chill and chocolate and loads more extrordinary things I'm sure.

I'm off on holiday Sunday 3rd so it looks like I will be missing it.   CQ

Sorry about that, my pc seems to have a mind of its own today.

Will try Indiana when in Hove next.  You can def recommend it can you?  We were actually in Hove last night, had taken a ride out to Taj in Hove to get all my bits and bobs.  What a fantastic shop it is. cq

Hi,

Ahhh the Taj, yes I do a lot of shopping there myself!! They seem to have almost everything!!  :)

And as For Indiana it's a proper "Curry House" as they haven't gone the way most have looking like an operating theatre, and the foods good !!

As for the Marina I live down there so I will not have far to waddle ?or walk after gorging myself on all the chilli stuff

Hi Slimboyfat,

Yes  I agree with you most look very clinical these days.  We used to use the Akash in Preston Street that came up with the goods.  Will definately try the Indiana.  How lucky are you living in the Marina!

Enjoy the festival, if its anything to go by, it is a subsiduary of the Chilli Festival in West Dean Brilliant!!  Not a lot of people on this forum know that as they havn't been.  Enjoy and let me know how you get on.  cq
