Hi everyone, as some of you are aware I now reside in the US of A and the lack of decent indian food here unbelievable, anyway I posted a topic in the
chowhound.com website singing the praises of this site and the real curry site, so hopefully you might see an influx of ex-pats and indeed Americans to this site.

Lets Talk Curry / Portion amounts
January 27, 2007, 05:10 PM
Hi guys, this is a very informative site with lots of detail for getting your preffered BIR
but I have been checking out various recipes and info and everything appears to be on the large scale i.e. base sauces even some of the actual recipes, since I will only be cooking for my wife and I, it is somewhat tricky trying to find suitable measures. Is there no way to include recipes and info for the home rather than the large kitche/restaurant.
Dare I say it even a seperate thread/forum

Thanking you in anticipation, David

Hi recently moved over here to the USA from Bonnie Scotland. The thing I miss most is my Indian cuisine. I live in central Michigan and Have tried loads of Indian restaurants and nothing compares with the cusine in Glasgow and the surounding areas, ie The Bombay cottage in Hamilton has to be my fav. Finding and joining this site has given me the impudence to try the many and varied recipes.
