Pictures of Your Curries / Re: Pathia Ama for lunch

Chewy that looks great, i'm a big fan of curry with lots of vegetables - makes each mouthful interesting and different. I've only ever had Dansak as a sweet and sour curry, so i might just give a pathia a go seeing as it looks the nuts.

Bittergourd I suggest you get the guns out and give it a proper shake for atleast 2 minutes for a whole bulb. Don't be shy

I've never seen Elderflower Cidre, must keep an eye out as I'm going through a major cider phase. Curry looks top too!

Curry Sauce, Curry Base , Curry Gravy Recipes, Secret Curry Base / Re: Jb's/ChewyTikka base hybrid, pressure cooked.

Very, very interesting to me because my last batch of jb's base was done in a 6 litre pressure cooker with about 2.5kg onions and I did not dilute before freezing... I look forward to giving this a go. Probably the clearest instruction method I've seen on the Internet too, did you copy the format or your own doing? Whatever thanks for posting!!!! 25

Dansak / Re: My Dhansak
May 22, 2015, 01:22 PM
This is my new favourite curry! I recommend that if you havent tried this one yet - you give it a go soon and consider making it a day in advance as it tastes even better 24hrs later. Made to spec using JB's base it was bang on BIR for me. Goes well with a simple Indian salad.

Talk About Anything Other Than Curry / Re: How much deep fat frying do we do?
May 20, 2015, 10:17 AM
Never owned one or actually done any deep fat frying. I'm tempted to buy one atleast every month though, currently the falafel recipe posted a week ago is teasing me. I try and be reasonably healthy (boring) with what I eat.
