Cheers Rob, that explains it all, with the vid too.
Not sure it would work very easily with the thighs, as a bit big, so not easy to turn and toss around for searing.

Cheers Rob
How are they cooked on the hob, water added with the marinade?

Only asking, as I usually do chicken thighs straight in the oven and basically all that's left in the pan is fat.
Which I don't think would make a great broth.

Chicken looks lovely, what's the special broth?

This is Lidl, I don't get to Aldi. Next time they have a Taste of Asia week I'll have a look, sometimes they have proper brand names, not just their own.

Yep we were given crackers Rob. Guess most of us didn't want to mess our hair up.
Brought our own booze though.

Hi Rob
The choice was a Christmas dinner, hence the soup for 3 of them, or anything off the menu.
I had a sheek kebab starter and a lamb Dhansak, pilau rice and a keema naan.
Followed by a choice of cake for desert, which I took home as too full up. :smiling eyes:
It was bloody lovely. :umy:
