can anyone give me the recipe for the mint sauce that is usually served with the onion salad whenever i go for a balti

YES, PLAIN YOGURT, A SQIRT OF LEMON, A TEASPOON OF COLMANS FRESH GARDEN MNT ,(NOT MINT SAUCE ) HALF TEASPOON OF PATAKS KASHMIR MASALA, HALF CUP OF CASTER SUGAR,AND SOME COLOURING IF WANT, A SMALL BIT OF FRESH CORIANDER.BLEND IN BLENDER,A LITTLE AMOUNT OF SINGLE CREAM  TERRY PS BOIL THE SUGAR IN SOME WATER TO DISOLVE

Hi bigjack,

Yep I agree with ifindforu recipe above but you can also use a little runny honey instead of sugar (healthier) and you'll find the mint sauce will then have a nice shiney like texture just like most restaurants/takeaways.

Been using the mint sauce too.. Ill have to get some of that colmans fresh mint when im back in the uk.. cool

Hi Curry Quenn ,just plain natural yogurt.Not the set one also one can add a very small amount of garlic powder if they like By the way I use the cheapest from Lidols
