Has anyone tried using these? If so, what results have you seen?
I thought about getting some to use as an alternative to using jars of minced garlic and ginger which are not meant to be kept too long in fridge after opening.

Hi uc2002
I've seen these in ASDA, your just paying over the top for fancy packaging.
Only 70g for 1.50 gbp
In the same freezer you have Taj frozen garlic blocks, which I use and are excellent.
400g bag for only 97p

Thanks CT but 'product unavailable' so maybe asda have discontinued it. However, I'll check out some other local stores.

I did have some of the garlic and to be honest i wouldn't bother again, didn't really add that much garlic flavour to any thing so i still had to add fresh garlic any way.

Shews OK here : Taj Crushed Garlic
(400g)

Can't get the Taj frozen garlic in any of my local ASDAs either. Maybe they just do it down south?
-
Taj is certainly not available 'online' at my asda store; maybe range was replaced by 'dorots.'
However, I need to go there tonight anyway so I will see.

Unfortunately, what's available in one store isn't always stocked in another as I found out when i went in search of the Chalice oil :( . I see the dorot's product yesterday in Tesco. Convenient maybe but so bloody expensive and almost eight times more expensive per kilo than Taj :o :o. I'll carry on doing my own at that price and it's better ::)

No joy tonight, so guess I'l persevere with paste jars for now. Probably a lot cheaper than the dorot's frozen stuff even if I do have to discard some.
