Welcome to cr0 Fran .... there's a stack of great vindaloo recipes on here .. my fave is CA's .. good luck !! :)
Frantheman,
you'll love the site.
you need to get your basics in place first ie base, g/g paste etc. cury2go has some very good info on utube (via his site http://www.curry2go-online.com/index.html (http://www.curry2go-online.com/index.html))
after that CA's is good vindaloo (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3953.0 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=3953.0)), curry2go's is then well worth making (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=6318.msg63597#msg63597 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=6318.msg63597#msg63597)).
Razor's post has the background info (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5224.msg53844#msg53844 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5224.msg53844#msg53844))
the only thing else i've started using is naga sauce. you can buy in jar "Mr Naga" which is good starting point.
best wishes,
Hi Fran
As Colin said, you won't go far wrong following CA (Cory Ander) recipes. His vindaloo is bang on.
Stick around and have fun! 8)
