just googled it and found this http://veggiefirenspice.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/jeera-aloo.html (http://veggiefirenspice.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/jeera-aloo.html) Think I might give this a try with some nice new season potatoes

Hi Shaun
Depends what your looking for and what your used to buying?

Entry level for anybody learning the flavour of whole Indian Spices
Masses of recipes for this....

But in I'ts simplest form, just stirfry parboiled potatoes with a Tbsp of
cumin seeds a touch of G&G, Mix pdr, Chilli pdr and maybe Amchur pdr.
season with salt.
Try this, It will only take you 5/7 minutes to knock up.

I like this dryfry style and makes an ideal side dish ;)
Here's a version I do, with nearly burnt Garlic and fried Okra.

Hi All

I made Mickdabass sugested recipe last night to go with a beef madras and was suprised how hot it was. Mighty tasty but certainly packed some nice heat with minimal chilli.  :) :P
