Title: first posting

Hi Everyone  :)

First post...here goes.  I've cooked curries for a few years and at first I thought they were good.  I tried restaurant style and thought I'd cracked it.  I then tried other styles of cooking, came back to good old curry and actually, I wasn't as good as I thought, hence, asking people who know what they're talking about.  So, any good base sauces out there and recipe for my favourite starter, Prawn Puri!!! (wasn't as bad as I thought!)

Try this to begin with

http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=2658.msg23486#msg23486 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=2658.msg23486#msg23486)

Then try ChewyTikkas base  and recipes.  These are accompanied by excellent videos rather than just recipes.

Hi Everyone  :)

First post...here goes.

spency - welcome to the forum but are you aware that you reported curryhell's helpful reply (above) as spam! Hardly! Perhaps you pressed the 'report' button instead of the 'reply' button.

Your "report to a moderator" came through as follows:

The reporter (spency) has made the following comment:

apologies for not responing sooner, been away! thanks mate, I will and let you know.

George,

Why don't you just send the guy (or girl) a personal message to that effect rather than clutter the forum with such trivia?  It seems to me that you just want to make yourself look clever (or important, or both?)? Their post was made over 3 weeks ago!  ::)

CA - why don't you refrain from launching a personal attack? I suggest your message is more trivial than mine. I posted the message I assume spency wanted to appear. The prelude explains how I came across it and, incidentally, it was sent/posted on 13 July, so it's only a couple of days old, and not 3 weeks, like you said.
