Having a brand new kitchen design and appliances so didn't know what was best to get, i have always cooked with gas so that's what i am used to but with ovens is there really a lot of difference, which is the best one to choose.
Which is best for cooking tikka's, kebabs etc..
Cheers.

Hi UF,
It has to be gas for the hob. For the oven(s) I'm happy with electric fan.
Cheers

One thing worth checking is the minimum temperature your oven(s) can run at. I can set mine to 50 degrees celsius which is really handy for keeping plates and food warm without the risk of melting plastic TA containers.

Electric fan double oven for me. I have a Neff one and it is now 10 yrs old and is by far the best one I've ever had. That one you picked looks good too 8)

If you can afford it go for the highest attainable temperature oven possible. At around 350 Celsius ovens self clean (so I'm led to believe by Miele )and you're getting near the temperatures in a tandoor or pizza oven which must be handy .... maybe :-\

Going for an electric double oven, the electrolux has got a pizza setting check the video out, i like the website because of the video's for certain appliances and the prices are very competitive.
Cheers for the replies.
