HI All
Thought I'd share this Old School 80s Rezala recipe.
There are many variations of a BIR Rezala these days, but this is the straightforward one I was taught.
The yogurt provides the Tang and the Black Pepper gives you a warming after taste.
Very tasty dish and simple to make at home. :P
Tip: Remember to cook the yogurt through, in the Masala, before you add the curry base gravy
otherwise your sauce may split.
Ingredients
3 tbs of Veg Oil
1tsp G&G paste
Par-cooked Onion & Peppers
1tsp Mixed Powder
1tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
1tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper Powder
2 or 3 tsps whipped plain Yogurt
1 Portion of Chicken Tikka
1 Portion of Curry Base Gravy
A couple of Tomato Wedges
Freshly Chopped Coriander leaves

notice how Chewy puts the onions to one side of the pan with the oil at the other side.
then he adds tomato dilute and the spices and fries them separately from the onions
brilliant technique.
also notice how great that Tikka looks :)
Chewy...would be grateful if you could pass on said Tikka recipe if you have one.

Worked fine for me in safari but I had to go to the Vimeo website to view. Had same message about embedding.
