i use this one and use CA's base instead of water, amount of base does vary,

Hi UF,
Many thanks for the recipe, looking at it, it calls for half teaspoon of spice blend then in brackets it say's garam masala.
Which one do you use please? Spice mix or garam masala?

Also, how big is one piece of Ginger? :)
I'm thinking 1 inch square given the rest of the ingredients? but then I like fresh Ginger :)

Hi 976 i used garam masala (East End) and as for the ginger i used a 1 inch square piece and finely chopped into small squares.
