Theres a nice moon tonight with jupiter and venus in the same area  ;D  And mercury if youre high enough.

Nice one Mick, It really is a good sight to see. Hopefully will get better over the next few days.
Wish i had a decent camera because i wouldve driven up the hills here and set up a tripod.

Looking West over a little light pollution.
They are far enough apart in the sky not to be able to use my 20x zoom and capture all three in one shot with any greater clarity.

You have hills........lucky you. Not many of those here in the Fens. ::)

The hills can be an obstruction sometimes though. Thats where you have the advantage  :)
There's some hills around here where you can look DOWN on the jets  ;D

Astrophotography is something i'd love to get into. One day.. ;)
There was some great amateur photos shown on the recent Stargazing live extra programme's on the BBC.
Great detail with relatively basic equipment.
A motorised telescope is on me list.  :D
