So far I have had great success with CA's base and curries combo. However I am now finding it hard to know whos to try next and don't want to become lazy and only cooking CA's.
I am finding it hard to pick another base as some seem more vague on the weights and measures and more problematic is its hard to tell which are most widely used in recipes.
Does anyone know of a list that says for example "CA Base - 10 recipes" etc...
Failing that can anyone point me in right direction of a good base / recipes to try following CA's Stella start
Thanks

Chewytikka's is a good base and is supplemented by loads of videos with his recipes.

Maybe try out the 'new' Zaal Restaurant base!
Agree with the comment about Chewy's base.......and there's also AbdulMohad's if you want something that cooks easily and quickly.

OK so chewytikka's base it is!
Is it this 3 hour base? http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5635.0 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5635.0) and go by the original recipe on the first page? Or was it revised some place throughout? (15 pages of comments can be hard to decipher lol).
Once that is done can you recommend a tried and tested recipe to compliment it?
Thanks a lot guys ;D

Hi
ChewyTikka madras sauce (just add pre-cooked meat / chicken / prawns): http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5634.0 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5634.0)

That be the one BB. I'd follow it up with the madras. Make sure you singe the spices though ;). Not easy thing to do :o
