hi all I'm new to this ,but have been reading your messages and god your all doing a really good job of finding that curry every one is looking for,its great
ok could someone give me the recipe for a Parthia,when i order from my take away i order half Parthia half madras,which isn't to hot, some times tho the curry has something missing,iv put this down to different cooks i like spicy curry, but sometimes get my curry which is bland without that ahhh u no what so I'm asking u guys to help me make the perfect curry at home thanks deb >:(

This tastes really,really great ,nice & Spicy but not at all hot,you will not be disappointed i give you my word. ;).

To do this and many of the other currys available on here though you will need to make yourself a batch of curry gravy\base sauce.  Here's a couple you could try or have a look under the base sauce recipe section for loads more:

Theres no real right or wrong base that you can make so its more a case of trying as many as you can.

Hi,

I have made Patia before and as a bit of advice the best result is obtained by careful balance of the Lemon Juice and Sugar.

Patia is a sweet and sour dish and any overuse of Lemon or Sugar can make a marked change.

Try adding half the stated amount, taste and adjust a little at a time and you should get the balance right with trial and error.

The recipe posted above by C.K. looks worth a try and has about the right spicing for Patia.

Never had a bad pathia from this  ;D

As with all cooking, when you think you are done though taste the dish and add more lemon juice or sugar as your palate requires.
