Ok guys,
Prompted by a question asked by forum member Derek Dansak here http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=6175.msg61647;topicseen#msg61647 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=6175.msg61647;topicseen#msg61647) I have tried to move most of Abdul's recipes into their relevant section, in the hope that other members will a) actually find the recipes and b) perhaps give them a try.
I hope Abdul doesn't take offence at me doing this, I just think that all of his efforts should be given the right platform to be viewed from and not be buried in a thread that some members my not feel inclined to 'trawl' through, in the hope that the dish they wish to make, is in there!
Best Intentions,
Ray :)

Hi Ray
I'm sure a lot of people, myself included will be and are grateful to you for taking the time to do that! - I suspect a lot of members did not even know Abdul had posted half of those recipes being buried in that long thread like that!
I can recommend Abduls Ceylon btw!
Cheers

Cheers SP,
I Hope Abdul thinks along the same lines as you mate.
There are still a couple in there that I haven't re-posted as he provides a 'pictorial' to support his recipe and I'm not quite sure how to transfer it without it being a long winded affair.
Maybe some of our more 'tekky' members (Phil ::)) could oblige?
Ray :)

Good call Ray, Thank You

My inclination would have been not to copy the recipes verbatim, Ray, but simply to have inserted a hyperlink to the original, something along the lines of the following : - Abdul Mohed's Chicken Madras (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5958.msg59103#msg59103)
but that would work only where he has dedicated a single post to a single topic, which initially he did not do. So if you /do/ need to clone one of his more verbose offerings with pictorial accompaniment, and if it embedded in a larger post so as not to be amenable to the hyperlink treatment, then the easiest way to clone it is to use the "Quote" button attached to it, select all of the BB code in the editor box, then paste that into a new message in the correct thread and remove all extraneous elements. Does that sound reasonable/feasible, Ray ?

Hats off to Razor - well done! makes it a bit easier all round
best, Rich

Hi Phil,
Yes, that makes perfect sense. I'll give it a go now.
Ray :)

Yep, it worked a treat, cheers Phil

My pleasure. Well done, Ray !

Ok, that's them all done.
Wow, you don't realise actually how many recipes Abdul has kindly posted until you split them all up. I've not counted them but I bet that there is nearly 20 of them at least.
If he continues to carry on posting in his 'BIR style bandwagon' thread, I will try to keep up and move them to their relevant sections.

Guy's,
Have been monitoring 'who's online' over the afternoon, just to see if there has been any activity on the abdulmohed2002 recipes that I have split up and I'm pleased to say, there has been loads of interest in various recipes of his.
With any luck, members will now give these recipes a go now that they are easy to find.
Ray :)

Did you see any signs of Axe, Ray ? He has been disturbingly conspicuous by his absence of late ...

Hi Phil,
No, I haven't to be honest and I was thinking the very same thing today. Maybe he's got himself back into the IG kitchen, and hopefully, provides us with some more gems? :)
Ray :)

Maybe, but he's been watching us ! Last seen 15th September 2011, 23:29:58.

That's quite a while ago though now - nearly 1.5 months.

Oh yes, so it is. Well, when you get to my age, Ray, you'll probably find you don't know what month it is either !

Hi Abdul, one more question for you - when you refer to spoon measures for spices in your book and in this thread, do you mean a level spoonful or a heaped spoonful?
