Title: Prawn & Mushroom Curry 80's Style Wanted!

I hope you don?t mind me asking but would love to create one of my 80?s favourites which is a prawn and mushroom curry. I used to get from one of the local takeaways in Brighton. If I remember was ordered as a Prawn curry and the mushrooms were an extra if that makes sense! It was a medium hot flavour with sliced mushrooms and a slightly sweet smoky taste.
I can?t see listed on here but I am guessing it would be similar to a regular restaurant medium  curry? Any ideas how to recreate that flavour?

How about trying a medium curry using Bruce Edward's guide and tweaking it for your own taste?
