Well after a marathon of curries over the last several weeks, I asked my youngest what she might like for dinner on her birthday today? "Meat Pudding Daddy"!
So after 5 hours of steaming the final creation came to life, Steak & Ale Pudding with Chips, Peas and Onion Gravy.
Food of the goods. :)

I soak them in salted water for about an hour, then dry them in a tea cloth for about the same amount of time. they are then plunged into a deep fat fryer with rapeseed oil until done. We like them darker in colour, it's a bit like caramelised onions, extra yummy. ;D
