I love onion marmalade, it's great with cheese and crackers. Have made my own marmalade in the past, it can be time consuming but well worth the effort. Are you suggesting you might try these in a curry?

Yes it's caramelised onions which is required in the Ashoka curries , wondering if it will taste the same as the bunjarra recipe on the site from panpot

Almost certainly not, Caramelised Onions won't taste anything like the bunjarra recipe, as they contain no spices or the tomato. Mind you, I haven't read the ingredient list on the jar. You might be able to add the missing components though. I'd stick to Panpots recipe myself. Though I haven't made it.

Could you take a jar of these and then add the spices necessary to make Bunjara, thus cutting out the time consuming Caremelising process?
