Hi, Iv`e been cooking Indian food now for about three years and it has transformed my life. During the boring winter months I cook every evening and most weekends. I cannot remember the last time I had a cold and I have also lost two stones in weight. A healthy hobby I`m sure you will agree ;)
I`m looking forward to reading past posts and contributing myself.
Anyone on this site from my area?
Cheers for now, I have a lot of reading to catch up on 8)

Hiya Stig,
Welcome to cr0.
I can totally identify with what your saying about colds fella. I went a good 2 years without so much as a sneeze but then a copped a dose of proper flu before Crimbo, and it knocked me sideways.
Not knowing what your background is Stig but this site in the main, is dedicated to BIR (British Indian Restaurant) style cooking, which usually involves copious amounts of oil but, I'm sure you can adapt it to suit your diet.
Good luck matey, and feel free to ask any questions.
Ray :)
P.S, I'm from Manchester, so a few hours south of ya.
